Very nice hotel, I recommend it. It is upscale and clean with a beautiful view. The pool is very nice and the staff was very helpful. The restaurant has a view with good selection of food. The only issue we had was getting a double, queen or king size bed. Not sure if it was my mistake or just not clear in the reservation.
I am very impressed with the safety, service and location. The restaurant is picturesque with amazing views.
The cost is very reasonable and I will most definitely return.

Villa Caribe in Livingston offered a mix of good and not-so-good. The location with its stunning view of the Caribbean Sea is the highlight. The hotel has an old-school charm and is more comfortable than other places in Livingston.
The view of the sea is a real treat, and the hotel's classic feel is cozy and a step above other choices in town.
They have a big pool that's really refreshing, but watch out for sand flies in that area.
On the downside, the service was a bit limited, and the front desk didn't help much with arranging trips to Rio Dulce or Flores.
Everything and I mean everything is proper in this hotel! The rooms are big, the amenities are lovely, the bedding is nice, the staff is friendly. This hotel is superb!

Nice hotel with a beautiful garden and great location. Rooms have a pretty view. The cleanness wasn’t perfect, but I think still it’s the best you can find in town, so 5 stars.
Place is great and near the boat station, the beach was not clean and the water looks kind of dirty, trash is floating around, getting there was a pain and departing from the place another pain since you have to wait up to 1.5 hours to reach your destination (hotel or the other border) and the boat before departing (the boat waits until is full and it takes up 1 hour + 30 minutes crossing part of the sea). Food was very expensive and not that great, $15 for a small ceviche, $10 for a salad not even tasty. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a beautiful beach or food.
Excellent 70's hotel with lots of smart architecture. Well designed bathroom. Balcony with lovely estuary views. Fan and AC in the rooms. Restaurant serves good seafood. Helpful staff and nice big pool.
